i haven't written in forever, and i got this blog for creative writing class, right? so here i am, creatively writing.

to convey an emotion, a feeling or thought,
to provide an answer where one has been sought,
to clarify things which have caused great concern,
or to proclaim a love in the hopes of return.
a narrative flowing through one’s whole career,
a tragedy begging to evoke a tear,
a comedy, love letter, wanting a smile
from the lips of the reader, just to make it worthwhile.
speaking of nature or humans or dreams,
or fiction, where nothing is quite as it seems,
put the pen to the paper, see what comes to be
because such is the beauty of poetry.
