10/1 showers

10/1:
topic given- 'what scares you?'

Whenever I walk into a foreign bathroom, my body tenses up if the shower curtain is closed and not see-through. I must open it before going to the bathroom, for fear of someone being stationed behind the curtain, only waiting to make a sneak attack on the unsuspecting victim- me. The method behind leaving the shower curtain closed is clear- to make it seem like the household is kept clean, or at least cleanER. But this seems a small price to pay for the possibility (probability?) of a predator lurking in the tub. After opening the curtain, or looking behind it, every time I enter a closed-curtained bathroom, I ask myself what I would have done had there actually been some creepy, middle-aged male with five o'clock shadow waiting behind, surely grasping a blood-covered knife in his dry hands. An answer has yet to be formulated.
I have clear glass doors on my shower.

(though true, this isn't meant to be a serious piece... in case you didn't catch that...)

I'm the same. as you know.
you don't know how many people I've heard of with the same problem. hahaha

so this morning I walked into the bathroom, no one was in there and I would've heard them had they been in any of the stalls, and I go into my favorite shower stall (of the two) and the curtain is closed. I totally froze for a sec. I'm glad I feel so safe in my hall that, this time, I didn't think it'd be a creepy, deranged killer-man, but just thought someone had to be in there. Wait, wait wait, if a girl was still chillin in this shower for whatever reason, why didn't she lock the door? and I'm fine, I'm still clothed and can easily run out of here if I need to. ha so much easier in open bathrooms like that. though there have been a few times when, behind said curtain, I feel like the door isn't completely closed/locked and have to check. heh ah well.
